Eclipse Media is a fast growing DVD and Download publishing business that distributes its products, through an e commerce driven business model, direct to the consumer.

Customers are able to order from a menu of available titles and their DVD is made to order and dispatched directly to them. Titles are either finished preauthored programmes or alternatively bespoke products where the customer compiles his or her own DVD selection  from available footage.

Rights owners such as The Open University, Lovers Guide International, and Pitch International have already entered into agreements with Eclipse. A number of significant new deals will be announced very soon.

As retail channels become ever more challenging the Eclipse Business Model enables rights owners to keep their deep catalogue available to customers. From the consumers point of view they will be able to buy that "must have" gem that was previously impossible to find.
